Cimato Moroldo Architects is one of Johannesburg’s finest dynamic architectural practices. Specialising in bespoke residential, commercial and interior design markets.

Cimato Moroldo Architects was established in 1997 by Aurelio Cimato and later joined by Adriano Moroldo in 2002. Now in their 20th year of business Cimato Moroldo Architects has grown into a team of highly skilled and impassioned individuals.

Aurelio Cimato and Adriano Moroldo collectively have over 40 years of experience which has awarded them with a depth of knowledge and skill that benefits each client they serve. The company’s signature design aesthetic is modern contemporary, utilizing a modern-day approach, ultimately designing for and taking inspiration from each unique situation, purpose or person. Their designs enjoy simplicity, clarity and minimalist aesthetics that are inherently encompassed in modernism, all incorporated in conjunction with each customer’s own personal style. Both Aurelio and Adriano have a strong understanding of the need to constantly explore new ideas and new forms as remaining ahead of the architectural pack is paramount.

Contemporary

The contemporary signature design aesthetic of the company is evident in all projects completed. The company’s commercial portfolio includes completion of over 120 000 sqm of industrial and office buildings in Longmeadow Business Park over the last three years. Some of the tenants here include; ABB, Goldenmarc, Motoman, World NetLogistics, BoltRemovals, Barloworld Toyota, Digistics, Automotive Leather and Triton-Express. We have also completed numerous buildings in Linbro Business Park, Aeroport, Corporate Park (South &North), Kyalami Business Park and Sunninghill.

On the high-density residential side, Cimato Moroldo Architects have recently completed 2 medium-rise high-density residential projects: a five-story 100-unit apartment block in Bedfordview and a similar 140-unit apartment block in Morningside, Sandton. We have completed various upmarket residential projects, a number of which have been featured in top local magazines such as Habitat Magazine, Visi, and S.A. Homeowner. Currently, we are also busy with about 30 upmarket trend-setting new residential projects in and around Johannesburg.
